An expert in Britain estimates that half of university students are likely to use OpenAI's ChatGBT chatbot to cheat, warning that artificial intelligence has created a massive proliferation of cheating, posing a major threat to the credibility of academia.
The Daily Mail quotes Rehan Haq from the UK-based artificial intelligence company Metatalent: “We are already at the stage where AI can write entire projects, and then another AI tool can reformulate them to make AI undetectable.” Possibly half of the students are using the tool to deceive the education system in exams and essays.
