Google announced, during the recent BETT technical conference, many new features and modifications that it will introduce to the Chrome browser to make it more useful and practical for Internet users.
And according to Google, the next update to the Chrome browser will bring with it many new features, including the Chrome feature or “reader mode”, which is intended to help people with language-related learning difficulties or reading problems.
The aforementioned feature provides a new side panel in the browser, with the aim of facilitating the display of texts taken from web pages and showing them in a better way to the user, and through this panel it is possible to control the colors and sizes of fonts and control the spaces between the lines of written texts, and this feature is supposed to appear in the next “114” version from the browser.
Google also announced during the conference that it will improve the Screencast tool in ChromeOS 112; In order for this service to be able to support translation into additional languages such as Spanish, Swedish, Italian and Japanese, and to facilitate the adoption of the tool in converting speech into text files that can be shared via Google cloud services.
Google also introduced the "Progressive Participation" feature, which will help teachers work collectively to communicate ideas to students, and it is expected that this feature will be introduced in the coming months.
