Although 10 years have passed since his departure from Jeddah to Rio de Janeiro, Victor Simos’ heart is still attached to Al-Ahly club and its unparalleled fans, after he scored about 100 goals between 2010 and 2014 and led the team to achieve the King’s Cup twice, and reached the Champions League final with him. Asia 2012.

And in this era in which Al-Ahlyians seek to rise from under the heaps of spherical misfortunes that rained down on them after the relegation disaster. Minds cannot believe what the club is going through, after complaints and claims besieged it in all the corridors of FIFA, and paralyzed its movements in the transfer market for two consecutive periods.

Former Al-Ahly star Victor Simos chose not to be silent in front of these deputies that squeezed the great entity. He told me, in an interview full of grief and sadness, that Al-Ahly's real problem is seeking help from people who are ignorant of football and have no history or experience in it at all. They don't know how to deal with the football industry, the players and the professional stars.

The “butcher” also revealed that he was not surprised by what happened recently, so if you, as a club management, do not pay the players their salaries and dues. They will definitely go directly to FIFA. In his speech to the Ahlawis, he stressed: "You know that very well."

Simos did not hide his admiration for the current football device in Al-Ahly, as he said: “Now we are starting to see the return of the stadium. And the sons of Al-Ahly, Tayseer Al-Jassim and Kamel Al-Mousa, these are stars with a history and are able to understand the players and deal with them. This situation is very good at the moment; Because as professional players, after many years of experience and experiences, we can know the mentality and mentality of the players, which contributes to their good management and dealing with them to bring out the best in them, in addition to the ability to sit with them and talk to them in the darkest circumstances.

Victor added: I am very sad because Al-Ahly, whom I love, is in such a bad state.. Al-Ahly was late in paying my salaries for 3 or 4 months, but I never thought of filing a complaint with FIFA. Simply because the administration at that time was good at dealing and adept at managing the crisis. So I, in turn, dealt well with the club and did not think at all about the club's complaint or demand, and there are other players who do not care about it, and all they care about is getting money.

Victor believes that Al-Ahly could have avoided FIFA's decisions if he had contracted with the right players who are able to make the difference technically, in addition to being suitable for the characteristics and identity of the club and its current circumstances. He added that there must be a person between the administration and the players with expertise and experience and knows the club well, and can make the right contracts, and not anyone can do that, especially if he is ignorant of football.

Seamus believes that it is now difficult to do anything about preventing Al-Ahly from signing contracts. Because the issue has become in the hands of FIFA, and there is only a glimmer of hope.. But after the end of this crisis, Al-Ahly must start from scratch. There must be a real plan. This is mandatory and must be done “if we want Al-Ahly to succeed.” Victor asked.. “Why does Al-Ahly contract with professionals for huge amounts that exceed the club’s energy and ability, and in its current circumstances, while there are distinguished players in Brazil and the Latin continent at reasonable prices ?!?”

And Victor continued: To sign professionals, you must have an expert eye and know the type of players you need, and it is not easy work, it is very difficult; Because you have to have extensive relationships and contacts around the world, know the nature of the external club negotiations, the player’s mentality, and the extent of his passion to play as a fighter throughout the season, or if he wants to go professional only in order to secure a contract and money.

And he continued: Today, most foreign players view the Saudi and Al-Ahly leagues as a “dollar” .. Most of them say “yes” only for the sake of money .. They do not care about playing.

Regarding the inflation of contracts and penal conditions, he said that Al-Ahly and its officials are the reason .. No one was beaten by the club in order to sign and accept those numbers and conditions .. Everything that happened was the result of work and actions that took place inside the club; Therefore, we do not blame the foreign players or their clubs, as they dealt according to the professional game to ensure their interests.

And the former Al-Ahly top scorer concluded: “After the end of the crisis of issues in FIFA, many things must be reconsidered. Why is it Al-Ahly that failed among the big clubs?” Something is wrong, and we all have to fix it. Nothing is impossible. Sports are not impossible. Al-Ahly must return their club to its usual position and strength.
