Residents and visitors of Al-Sanabel and Al-Maarad neighborhood, south of Jeddah, have been complaining for the past 4 months about the chaos in which vehicle drivers are heroes, without interference from the concerned authorities, despite several reports submitted by residents who believe that the problem has exacerbated in the month of Ramadan and the traffic chaos has disturbed the movement of people, especially before Iftar, says Muhammad Al-Hassani, Abbas Al-Hassani and Hussein Mufreh, who shed light on the traffic chaos caused by drivers, especially after closing the Saher camera at the bottom of the car showroom bridge and placing iron barriers that forced the owners of vehicles and trucks coming from the north of Jeddah to the south specifically to head to the road heading west to reach and turn east again. Or what is known as a roundabout, as residential buildings and shops abound with hundreds of vehicles heading to the same turn coming from the west, and this confusion leads to quarrels throughout the day between vehicle drivers, in addition to traffic violations such as reversing traffic in order to escape from the crowds, which causes Traffic accidents that are still continuing today while nothing has changed in reality or intervention to solve the suffering by the concerned authorities. And Muhammad Ali Al-Asbali and Muhammad Al-Sheikhi add: We are in continuous suffering throughout the day due to the chaos of vehicles and the absence of follow-up, and the matter will not be resolved unless Saher returns to the traffic signal below the exhibition bridge to regulate the movement of vehicles, in addition to changing the locations of turns and regulating traffic. As for Ali Al-Hassani, he says: I almost lost my life because one of the vehicles that was traveling at high speed collided with my vehicle due to the reversal of traffic and the chaos of some drivers.
