Some reckless tweeters in political affairs assumed the roles of the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, until they assumed that their opinions express the official position of the state without regard for the damage they cause to relations with other countries and peoples!
This obsession fueled by loud lights, and I do not say the fame that their tweets arouse, must stop. There is a big difference between expressing your personal opinion, no matter how reckless or extreme it may be, and speaking on behalf of the state as if you are mandated to declare on its behalf, or to express specific positions and deliver certain messages!
A few days ago, I heard an important official complaining about the damage that these people cause to relations with other countries and the embarrassment they cause, especially in negotiations and discussions of some outstanding issues that affect the country's interests in its foreign relations!
The problem here is that some of them have begun to win for themselves at the expense of the interest of their country, and they have been struck by a state of schizophrenia in which they no longer distinguish between their opinions as individuals or official representatives, so they assume personalities that they do not represent, and adopt roles that are not theirs, and one of them has become inflated with an illusion that increases with time and the clamor that characterizes social media. And mixing rope with bombs!
The danger here lies in the exploitation of those tucked under fictitious names to rush these people and sow sedition mines in the responses and comments that generate causes of division, enmity and hatred among peoples, especially the peoples of friendly countries, not to mention the confusion that may arise in official circles in other countries and harm relations with them!
It is important for everyone to realize the limits of their responsibilities, and to be wise, objective, and realistic when dealing with political opinions that affect the state's policies, interests, and foreign relations!
