The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority at Al-Wadiah port managed to thwart an attempt to smuggle a large amount of hashish, exceeding 860 kilograms, after it was found hidden in one of the trucks coming to the Kingdom through the port.
The authority stated that during the inspection and inspection of one of the trucks coming through the port, more than 860 kilograms of hashish were found, hidden along the floor of the truck, by hiding the seizures inside the cavity of the floor.
The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority stressed that it is continuing to tighten customs control over the Kingdom’s imports and exports, and stands guard against smuggling attempts, in order to achieve one of its most important tasks represented in the security and protection of society from these pests, and at the same time it urged everyone to contribute to combating smuggling to protect society.
