The head of the Sudanese Transitional Sovereignty Council, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, stressed that the confrontations that took place between the army and the Rapid Support Forces must prevent the formation of any forces outside the womb of the armed forces. In statements to Al-Jazeera channel, today (Saturday), the army commander accused the Rapid Support Forces of attacking the army headquarters in the guest house (the residence of the head of the Sovereignty Council), and expressed his surprise that the Rapid Support Forces attacked his house at nine in the morning, Sudan time. He added that the Rapid Support Forces harassed the army in the Sports City area (south of Khartoum), which sparked the clashes.

Al-Burhan revealed that the Rapid Support Forces infiltrated Khartoum Airport through the Hajj and Umrah hall, and burned some planes, adding that the armed forces dealt with the Rapid Support elements at the airport. He stressed that no one was able to enter the General Command of the Sudanese Army, and that all strategic facilities from the Army Command and the Republican Palace are under control, in response to the Rapid Support Command's announcement that it had taken control of the guest house, the Republican Palace, and the airports of Khartoum and Meroe. He called for the return of the Rapid Support Forces that entered Khartoum to their places, adding that if the state of war continues, the army will enter its forces into Khartoum from different regions, warning that the army has good reserves and bases that it has not moved yet. For his part, the commander of the Rapid Support Forces in Sudan was accused Muhammad Hamdan Dagalo (Hemedti), Chairman of the Sovereignty Council, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, carried out a plot by the supporters of the ousted President Omar Al-Bashir, and said that the Hospitality Palace, the Republican Palace, the General Command of the Army, and all airports are under the control of the Rapid Support Forces. Hamidti said, in an interview with Al-Jazeera Mubasher, that his forces neutralized all the planes on which Al-Burhan relied, "We will hand him and his aides over to justice," he said. He added that the Rapid Support Forces have no enmity with the army. Hemedti expressed his regret for "fighting with our people. The fighting was imposed on us after the assault and siege on us. The battle will be decided in the coming days." , stressing that "the Rapid Support headquarters are fixed, and talk about controlling them is a lie."
