The late obtained a Diploma in Education for Teachers from the American University in Beirut in the summer of 1382 AH, and he was sent to the University of London for postgraduate studies in 1385 AH, and he obtained a master’s degree, by developing research from scientific research related to the subject of a PhD, on the method of some British universities, including the University of London, Then he obtained a doctorate with a recommendation to print the thesis in Shawwal 1390 AH, and he obtained a diploma in English law and legal studies while preparing for his doctorate from the City of London College. He was appointed after his graduation in 1390 AH. Assistant Professor at the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies at King Abdulaziz University, Makkah Al-Mukarramah, and was promoted to the rank of Associate Professor in the Department of Postgraduate Sharia Studies, 1398 AH, and to the rank of professor, in 1403 AH. And he began his practical life in Safar in the year 1378 AH, as a teacher at Al-Zahir Intermediate School for the two subjects: jurisprudence and interpretation, and during this period he prepared an interpretation of the prescribed parts of the interpretation of the Qur’an, and he was assigned to teach the Arabic language, and methods of teaching Sharia sciences in the summer session for teachers that was organized every year by the Ministry of Education in Taif And the Minister of Education issued a decision to transfer him as a teacher to the Azizia Secondary School in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, where he taught religious and Arabic sciences, and during this period he produced a school summary of the book (The Genius of Al-Siddiq) by the great writer Abbas Mahmoud Al-Akkad. Then a decision was issued by the Minister of Education to appoint him as a teaching assistant at the College of Sharia for the two subjects: Fundamentals of Jurisprudence and Comparative Jurisprudence, in the mid-eighties AH, and he was appointed dean of the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies at King Abdulaziz University since 1391 for a period of three years. He completed his job services at Umm Al-Qura University, so he was referred to retirement in 1412 AH, and he was reinstated in the civil service, and he was appointed as a member of the Council of Senior Scholars in the Kingdom in 1413 AH. He was awarded the Medal of Appreciation of the University of the first degree in recognition of the field work he performed during his deanship at the College of Sharia, and the King Abdulaziz Medal of the first degree from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz during the opening ceremony of the 26th Janadriyah Festival in 1432 AH, and he won the King Faisal International Prize in 1435 AH, Islamic Studies Branch, on his books on the cultural heritage of Mecca. He headed the committee for developing the curricula of the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies during his deanship in 1391 AH, and the committee for developing the curricula of postgraduate Sharia studies at the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies in 1405 AH. After retirement, he participated in the developed doctoral curriculum at the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies at Umm Al-Qura University, and suggested the book (The Mother) by Imam Muhammad bin Idris Al-Shafei, a textbook; Developing the talents of students in the subject of Islamic jurisprudence according to the method of Imam Al-Shafi’i, and he prepared the master’s curriculum at the College of Islamic and Arabic Studies in the UAE in 1421 AH, and the project (Maliki jurisprudence with evidence) in the UAE, and participated in the evaluation of the doctoral curriculum at the College of Postgraduate Studies at Prince Nayef Security University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia The month of Safar in 1423 AH, and he was chosen as a research professor at Harvard Law School in the United States of America in 1977, where he delivered lectures on Islamic jurisprudence. He also delivered lectures during the same period on Islamic law and its applications in the Kingdom at Boston University in the United States of America, and at the Center of Religions at Harvard University. He was assigned as a visiting professor to Duke University in North Carolina, USA, in 1401 AH, and a visiting professor at the International Islamic University in Malaysia in 1411 AH, and the College of Arab and Islamic Studies in the United Arab Emirates in Dubai, Sheikh Zayed University in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain University, and the Juma Al Majid Center for Research and Islamic Studies. , and Mofid University in the Islamic Republic of Iran, where he gave lectures on Islamic purposes in financial transactions, and some modern transactions, and a visiting professor at Dar Al-Ifta in the Sultanate of Oman to hold a course on (financial cards), and a visiting professor at King Khalid University. He participated in hundreds of conferences, seminars and meetings, and represented the Kingdom in the international law studies seminar held in Geneva in 1396 AH, and in the sessions of the Islamic Fiqh Academy of the Organization of the Islamic Conference.
