The National Center of Meteorology expected in its report on the weather for today (Thursday), – God willing – that the opportunity is still ripe for moderate to heavy thunderstorms accompanied by active winds and showers of hail that lead to torrential rains in parts of the regions of Riyadh, Qassim, Hail, Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, Makkah Al-Mukarramah, as well as on parts of the regions of Tabuk, Al-Jawf and the northern borders, and thunderstorms are still expected, accompanied by active winds and showers of hail that may reach heavy on parts of the regions of Al-Baha, Asir, Jazan, Najran extending to parts of the eastern region, While it is not excluded that fog will form during the night and early morning hours in parts of those areas.

The report indicated that the movement of surface winds on the Red Sea is north-northwesterly on the northern and central part, and south-southeasterly on the southern part, at a speed of 15-38 km/h, reaching 45 km/h towards Bab al-Mandab, and the wave height is from half a meter to One and a half meters, and the sea condition is light to medium waves, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf is westerly to northwesterly, turning at night on the northern part from southeasterly to southerly at a speed of 12-32 km/h, and the wave height is from half a meter to a meter, and the sea condition is light wave.
