Alan Ferguson, former CIH Director in Scotland, died of cancer today aged only 64. He gave his life to campaigning for social housing and had true empathy with tenants. As a colleague he was gifted, kind and unreliable in equal measure. As a man, he was a real sweetheart. RIP
