Having heard about this great loss, the family of this individual is passing through pains, mourning the unexpected passing of their beloved.
This departure was confirmed through social media posts made by Twitter users who pour out tributes, and condolences to the family of the deceased.
It is with great sadness we share with you that our friend and Club President, Dave Kitching, has passed away.
Dave will not only be a huge loss to our club but also to the north east running community. Much of Dave’s time was spent helping out at club events, parkrun, the Harrier League and many other local events. As well as being hugely respected by everyone he met, Dave was a true gentleman, supportive and kind.
At this very sad time, our thoughts are with Dave’s family and friends.
