James Simmons Jr. Death: Investigations are in the early stage after a Fort Smith man was shot to death in Scott County on November 10th, 2021, according to reports.
Responding officials arrived at the scene at about 11 p.m. and transported 34-year-old James Simmons Jr. to a hospital in Waldron, where he was pronounced dead, police say.
Officials say a report of an armed disturbance was laid and police responded to Yearling Ridge Road located in Southeast Waldron. The victim was found inside a residence suffering from gunshot wounds.
Police say the suspect is at large and a case file will be submitted to determine if charges will be filed. No motive was disclosed.
