Jamarkis Frazier Death – Dead: A great loss was made known to insideeko today, September 29, 2020. As friends and families of the deceased are mourning the passing of their loved and cherished Frazier who has just died recently. It’s really a painful exit.
Sheriff’s detectives are investigating the death of a man whose body was found early this morning in the Spring Hill area of DeLand.
Deputies responded to a 911 call just before 6 a.m. after someone discovered the man’s body near South Delaware Avenue and Green Street, near Spring Hill Park.
Detectives are working to identify the victim as the investigation continues. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.

The victim in yesterday morning’s homicide near Spring Hill Park has been identified as Jamarkis Frazier, 18 (DOB 9/15/2002), of DeLand. Frazier was shot.
As posted here yesterday evening, detectives are also investigating a nearby drive-by shooting that injured two people around 4:40 p.m. on the 1000 block of South Clara Avenue. Both shooting victims, a 62-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man, sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the incident.
Detectives are continuing to investigate both incidents, including the possibility that they may be connected. Deputies have also been providing an enhanced presence in the area. No further information is available at this point, but updates will be provided in the future as they become available.
