Belvedere Football Club are saddened to hear the devastating news of the passing of our former player Robbie Brunton at the age of just 47.
Our sincere thoughts & prayers are with his wife Celine, sons Ryan & Darragh, father Andy & mother Georgi. An outstanding footballer & absolute gentleman Robbie played for the club between 1982 and 1990 when he signed for Stoke City as a 16 year old & was an ever present at Belvo with both his boys playing for the club.

Very sorry to hear this. He was a hard man on the pitch, a gent off it. He had started going to games again in recent years with his sons. A cruel loss for them, his wife, family and friends.

He played 60 matches and scored three goals over two seasons with the #bitored and made a big impression at The Showgrounds.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Robbie Brunton at the age of just 47. Robbie was best known for playing with Bohs and Sligo but also played 22 matches, scoring once, for Dundalk in 2002/03.
