Chicago Police have arrested two suspected persons in connection to possible carjacking and shooting in Wrigleyville early Thursday morning, reports say.

Investigators say a male and female suspects approached a woman, identified only to be 27 years of age, near her vehicle at the parking lot near Wrigley Field at about 2:20 a.m., reports say. The man fired shots toward the victim following an “exchange of words” at the garage on the 1000 block of West Addison Street.

Police say the suspects fled the scene with the victim’s car as she fled the scene. Officials responded and blocked the garage exits and detained the suspects. Investigators recovered a handgun and found shell casings on the garage’s third floor.

No injuries were reported. Detectives are questioning the suspects in custody, police said.
