Missing 14-year-old teen from Plantation found.

Information gathered from multiple sources revealed that a missing 14-year-old boy named Neeraj Kakarla has now been found safe on Monday.

Chavez Grant a Plantation police officer said that Neeraj is in good health and is in the process of being returned and reunited with his family.

The Police did not immediately say where Neeraj was found or if he was with anyone during the time he was reported missing.

Before being found a search party was putting up flyers on Sunday in the area of Plantation Central Park, where 14-year-old Neeraj Kakarla was last seen.

He was last seen pedaling his Roadmaster mountain bike around Plantation’s Central Park. That was around 7:30 p.m. Friday. Police have reached out to the public for help in finding him.

Neeraj Kakarla is a freshman at Western High School had not been seen since on that Friday, Neeraj’s father said his son has never disappeared before, and nothing was out of the ordinary when he last saw his son.

He is described as being 5’8″ tall and weighs 125 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a brown hoodie, and white shoes, and was riding a purple Roadmaster mountain bike.

Family friend Suzanne McKee headed up the search for the teen. she said “Neeraj is a very sweet boy, very humble, This is not something I would expect from him. He’s a rule follower”.
