TONIGHT: I spoke with the best friend of Jennifer Toscano, and off-duty nurse killed by an alleged hit-and-run driver on I-95 this morning. Police say Toscano had stopped to help a man who was trapped inside a car that had rolled over when she was hit by the other car.

Jennifer Toscano, an off-duty nurse, died while trying to save someone else’s life on I-95 this morning in Pawtucket. I spoke to her co-workers who say she leaves behind a young son & worked at Bridgewater State Hospital. They say she died doing what she did best, helping others.
