Pros
Does a much better job than the costliest Polaris 380, the 4-wheel design is much better than the 3-wheel Polaris. In 14 years went thru 3 Polaris’s had the refurbished but never worked like it did when new and when new did not do as good of cleaning job as the Pentair Kreepy Krauly Legend.
The cleaner works fine. It arrived in the original box which did not look damaged, but a couple hubcaps were off and one had a broken tab so it would not go on. I called and a rep told me they would call me when they had one available. I went ahead and ordered one myself because I doubt, they will ever send it.
Bought this unit to replace a Polaris 3900 unit that we’ve had for 10 yrs. Forgot how nice a cleaner works when it’s new and works correctly. If this unit lasts as long as the Polaris, I’ll be more than happy.
Cons
This item replaced a 12-year-old Kreepy Krauly and as expected – collects very small debri from the bottom of the pool. The item came with a Velcro bag top – not the snap top bag pictured.
