A 19-year-old teen has been hospitalized after being shot while trying to sell a PlayStation 5 Sunday in northwest Harris County.
Officials with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office say the incident happened in the 8300 block of Gros Ventre. The unidentified teen was bargaining to sell a PlayStation 5 to a person and at some point, the deal went haywire and the suspected buyer shot the teen.
Investigators say the teen was shot by the buyer in order to steal the PlayStation 5. Arriving EMS transported the teen to the hospital, where he was listed in a stable condition. Officials are working to understand if there are more motives in the incident.
It is not immediately known if any arrest has been made in connection to the incident. No further information was made available as of Monday afternoon.
