An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale struck this morning, east of the Afghan capital, Kabul.

The Afghan Khaama Press news agency reported that the earthquake occurred 85 kilometers east of the capital, and was felt by the population, as it was at a depth of ten kilometers.

There have been no reports so far of damage or casualties from the earthquake.
