Public libraries in New York City revealed the list of the most borrowed books in 2022, which extends across the Bronx, Manhattan and Staten Island, and is topped by the book “Midnight Library” by Matt Haig, which was the book most borrowed from the branches of New York public libraries.
In the neighborhoods of Brooklyn and Staten Island, the novel “The Last Thing He Told Me” by Laura Dave topped the list, and in Manhattan, readers gave first place to the novel “Crying at H-Mart” by Michel Zauner. In Queens, the play “Paris Apartment” by Lucy Foley took first place, and here is the full list of books most borrowed in 2022:
