Dylan Bush Death – Cause of Death – 33-year-old Dylan Bush of Culver, was killed in an officer-involved shooting in Marshall County on Sunday, 28th of November 2021. The name of the Marshall County Deputy involved in the shooting have not been released. Authorities said in a release that the shooting incident took place after a Culver Police Officer tried to pull over a suspected drunk driver behind the wheel of a white Chevy sedan.
The driver who was later identified as Dylan, led the police including Culver, Marshall County and Argos officers on a hot pursuit for 30-minute before stopping in the parking lot of the Park ‘N Shop on North Shore Drive in Culver. According to the Indiana State Police, the officer stopped his vehicle in front of the Dylan’s car and exited his patrol vehicle. Dylan drove his vehicle toward the deputy, pinning him to his squad and it was at this moment that the officer fired several shots ultimately killing Bush.
The deputy who shot Dylan was transported to Saint Joseph Hospital in Plymouth to minor injuries. He was later checked out and released and is currently on paid administrative leave.
