The General Sports Authority was keen to introduce the history of the Saudi national team's participation in the World Cup, by allocating a pavilion in each of the "Live the World Cup" camps, which are spread in 4 cities in the Kingdom over a period of 30 days.

According to the supervisor of the Jeddah pavilion, Ahmed Al-Ghamdi, the aim of these pavilions, which was presented under the name “Live with the Green Falcons,” is to introduce generations to the participation of the Saudi green in the previous four editions of the World Cup.

In his interview with "Okaz", he stated that the pavilion included 4 corners, each corner containing a screen displaying clips of matches and goals for the Saudi national team, with a review of photos and newspaper clippings, and the most prominent events that accompanied his participation in each edition of the World Cup.

Al-Ghamdi pointed out that they were keen to display the national team's shirts in its participation in the World Cup 94 in America, 98 in France, 2002 in Korea and Japan, and finally in Germany 2006.

He pointed out that the players Mohamed Abdel-Gawad and Ibrahim Al-Suwaid presented their shirts in which they participated in the first two editions of the World Cup, while they suffered a lot with the rest of the players in obtaining their shirts for display only during the days of the event, which extended for a whole month, and he expressed his happiness with the great interaction from all segments of society that attended this event. She watched the Russian World Cup matches and visited the pavilion, which is part of the event organized by the Authority.

The curtain fell on the "Live the World Cup" event with a quarter of a million visitors of both sexes, who attended the camps of the General Sports Authority spread in 4 cities in the Kingdom over a period of 30 days, and enjoyed watching the World Cup matches in Russia and the accompanying events.

Despite the large numbers that flocked to the camps of the “Live the World Cup” event in Riyadh, Jeddah, Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Dammam to watch the World Cup matches, the organizer succeeded in accommodating these numbers, which exceeded a quarter of a million families and individuals, which reflected positively on those present to watch. matches.

Everyone agreed that the fun of the matches was more beautiful in the collective encouragement in the camps provided by the General Sports Authority. They thanked the head of the authority, Counselor Turki Al-Sheikh, for this initiative, which allowed individuals and families alike to watch the World Cup for free and enjoy its atmosphere.
