The Governor of Qurayyat, Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Jasser, sponsored this morning, Saturday, a ceremony celebrating the employees of Qurayyat Airport and travelers on the occasion of the 87th National Day of the Kingdom.
Upon his arrival at the ceremony, Al-Jasser was received by the director of Qurayyat Airport, Rawaf bin Mujahid Al-Kuwaikibi, and the directors of the airport's operating departments.
Immediately upon his arrival, he saw the plaque of the nation's martyrs, which was designed between the airport terminals and carried more than 70 martyrs who sacrificed themselves for the sake of the nation's religion. His thanks and appreciation to the soldiers stationed at the southern border and the sacrifices they make in order to support religion and the homeland. Then he toured the National Fine Art Forum under the slogan “The Homeland is in Our Eyes” and was briefed on the paintings and works of art that were formulated by the sons and daughters of the province and outside it. A number of patriotic pictures and expressive paintings on this dear occasion, in which everyone embodied the extent of deep love for the homeland.
After that, the speech ceremony presented by the student Ahmed Muhammad Al-Ruwaili began with a group of patriotic paragraphs presented by the students of Al-Salam Private School, then the speech of People of Determination presented by the supervisor of the group, Prim Muharraq Al-Ashjai, and from the State of Jordan, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Lighthouse for Culture and Arts, Nasr Al-Ziyadi, also participated. In a patriotic speech on this occasion, he congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his trustworthy Crown Prince, Prince Muhammad bin Salman, and the Saudi people on the occasion of the National Day, appreciating the support provided by the Kingdom to the State of Jordan and its people in various fields. Then, a group of primary school students from Al-Qurayyat Private School, a chanting operetta entitled “The Army of the Kingdom”, then the vocalist Khaled Al-Duhairi presented a patriotic chant, and it was followed by a patriotic poem by the poet Fahd Al-Sharari, with which the audience interacted.
At the end of the ceremony, Al-Jasser honored the winners of the Qurayyat Airport competition on the occasion of the 87th National Day for the best “national design, national costume for children, national phrase, plastic painting”, whose prizes were presented by Nas Air, which consisted of open tickets to any domestic destination, and Nesma Company presented The airline has tickets for people of determination in Qurayyat Governorate, and the supporters of the 87th National Day activities were honored: Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Al-Hawas, Commander of the Security and Protection Unit of Qurayyat Airport, Nas Air Company, Nesma Airlines, Al-Anan Travel and Tourism Company, Qurayyat National Company, Al-Mubdaa Advertising Agency Al-Salam Private Schools, Al-Musaed Group, APSCO Aviation Fuel Company, Safe Packaging Company, Bloudana Sweets. After that, Al-Jasser greeted the people of determination and took memorial photos with them on this occasion.
On the other hand, the governor of Al-Qurayyat visited the families of the martyrs in their homes, accompanied by a number of directors of the security authorities. National occasions, and this is evidence of the state's care and concern for the families of the martyrs, referring to the sacrifices they made to keep the country proud and dear under the leadership of our wise government, may God protect it from all harm and misfortune.
