More than 100,000 visitors were not satisfied with the historical area of Yanbu, which at the same time embraced the kingdom’s landmarks and antiquities in one location, along with the popular folklore that varied between the Jizanian Zulfa in the south, the game of Liwa in the east, and Al-Dosari and Al-Ardah in the central region, where the performance theater was filled to overflowing Visitors from inside and outside the province of Yanbu, and their entrance was one that was built specifically for this day, carrying in its chest the landmarks of this country, including the sanctities and landmarks it embraces.
The scene was purely patriotic, as the flags, shawls and green hats were the dominant and unifying color and slogan among all the visitors who united in the love of the homeland and also united in singing and chanting, “Long live Salman.”
The activities started in the afternoon and lasted until eleven in the evening, so they began with a march of horses and camels that roamed the parts of Yanbu Governorate in a scene that simulates the lives of parents and grandparents and tells how their lives were and the means of transportation that they relied on in their travels, then the march landed in the historical area and visitors gathered around it taking memorial photos on Homeland Day.
And since you entered the area, your attention will be drawn to the left side of the Kingdom Gallery, which shortened the distances and collected the towers and monuments with everything in that area, which was crowded with visitors whose faces were astonished and dazzled by the magnificence of the works they found that exceeded their imagination.
And on the rooftop stage, the youth of the country presented their social play of a comic nature, which carried in its content the highest meanings and values, to send through the theater their educational messages to society in order to promote the values of solidarity, solidarity and cooperation.
On the other stage, popular performances painted in front of the visitors an artistic painting of the heritage of the regions of the Kingdom in the north, south, east and west, in addition to national anthems, competitions and others.
At 10:00 p.m., it was the time for the lights that were lit by the fireworks and decorated the sky and the sea with its different colors and shapes, with which the visitors interacted and illuminated the area with their mobile screens, on which they imposed the task of documenting this wonderful event, which dazzled everyone with its magnificence and beauty.
The events continue on Sunday evening to continue Yanbu's distinguished celebration of the National Day and to reflect the honorable face of this province, which has succeeded in drawing attention to it with high professionalism, which has become a feature of its tourism festivals throughout the year.
It is noteworthy that the "Mawtani" festival is organized by the General Entertainment Authority in cooperation with the Tourism Development Council in Yanbu, and implemented by Benchmark Company.
