The Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, visited the military units stationed on the northern borders.
Upon his arrival, he was received by the Commander of the Northern Region, Major General Khaled Al-Juhani, the Commander of the Arar Force, Major General Abdullah Al-Osaimi, and the Commander of the Tarif Force, Major General Abdul Hafeez Al-Otaibi.
The Chief of the General Staff listened to a briefing from the commanders of the Arar and Turaif forces, about the operational tasks and duties, and was briefed on the progress of work in the stationed units.
Al-Ruwaili met with members of the two forces, and conveyed to them the greetings and blessings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Supreme Commander of all military forces, Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan.
The Chief of the General Staff praised the heroism of the armed forces personnel in defending their religion, their king and their homeland, and the high morale and distinguished level they enjoy in performing the duties and tasks assigned to them.
At the end of the tour, breakfast was shared with the units participating in the Tarif force.
