With the participation of Saudi Arabs, the Jeddah Atelier of Fine Arts will launch tomorrow (Monday) the fourteenth Ramadaniyat exhibition in the Kingdom, which is characterized by diversity and leadership and provides a great opportunity for all artistic trends. The exhibition is scheduled to be inaugurated by Dr. Talal Adham, one of the most important patrons of plastic art in Saudi Arabia.
The Director of the Jeddah Atelier for Fine Arts, Hisham Kandil, said that the Ramadaniyat exhibition is one of the important exhibitions that the Jeddah Atelier is keen to hold annually, in line with the spirituality of this holy month. A cultural evening is held on the sidelines with the participation of artists and critics.
Kandil added: We chose this wonderful artistic and cultural panorama full of diversity, distinction and difference, to provide a greater opportunity for all artistic trends that combine a thread and a rope titled extreme excellence to the point of leadership for many names participating in our major annual Ramadan celebration.
At the forefront of the works presented is a work by the great artist Abdul Halim Radvi, the pioneer of the Saudi plastic movement, and 4 works by the late great Fahd Al-Hujailan. A group of Saudi artists, including Abdullah Hamas, Abdullah Nawawi, Abdullah Idris, Fahd Khalif, Muhammad Al-Rabat, Abdul Rahman Al-Maghribi, Muhammad Al-Shehri, Ahmed Al-Khazmari, Muhammad Al-Jad, Bassem Al-Sharqi, Ibrahim Al-Nughaither, Muhammad Al-Ajam, Nawal Musalli, Fawzia Abdul-Latif, Ola Hijazi, Sahar Anani, Issam Asiri, Muhammad Al-Khabti, Fayez Abu Harris, Saeed Al-Alawi and Ghada, are participating in the exhibition. Zaytoun, Fatima Al-Dahmash, Nazir Yaoz, Hadeer Jamjoom, Ahlam Al-Mashhadi, and Thamer Al-Rabat. A number of major Arab artists will participate, most notably George Bahjouri, Ezz El Din Naguib, Esmat Dawstashi, Salma Abdelaziz, Reem Hassan, Moataz El Safty, Zakaria Ahmed, Lamis El Hamwi, Mohamed El Nasser, Abdel Aziz Bouby Usher, Omar Sabir, Awad Abu Salah and Ashraf Halawani.
