| A test of the Nigerian leadership

| Maturity as individuals can sometimes mean our ability to set a goal for ourself and do all the good steps we need to take for the achievement of that goal. To those of us enlightened enough to intuit a collective responsibility that uplifts society or builds our society into finer gold- we may call patriots. Patriotism is not meant for a people with low mentality as they cannot see beyond their nose of selfishness come to talk of thinking of society.
Our ability to transform our noble ideas into material sucex or into our practical life is what makes us matured. Faith becomes the engine that drives the car of our aspiration and noble value. Creating value is a sublime function of leadership hence its the bedrock for the growth of our society. Nigeria stands on a crucial epoch, crucial because now the true leaders must decide if we will allow fools to ground the ship of our progress in the mud of selfishness or whether we will put in more effort to build our society into finer gold starting from our innate wealth of value. The test of our leadership is a judged from the morality of our society. When i say leadership, i do not mean the political class cos those guys are inconsequential when true leadership is defined or they are the exact reflection of the cherished values we have as a society, this means they are not worse than the people they are leading and the people they are leading are not better than them. Its a question of pot calling kettle black. The rate of moral decadence in 9geria is not one that can be corrected by any politician or a section of the society, its a collective work which every well meaning 9gerian will start in his mind so it spills into his character and society. The painful thing is that not many of us have are willing to impact our society. That’s mainly because they have nothing to offer for one can only give what he has, he cannot give what he lacks. Those empty upstairs have nothing give hence their major preoccupation is to scatter or cause confusion. Within our society is also some people who have good values to impact but are stifled by the amount of negativity around them, these people need some encouragement In a sense, i believe.
