The “WhatsApp” and “Instagram” applications returned to work again, after the service was disrupted in them for moments when users were unable to correspond, exchange photos and videos, or publish them, which brought them back the nightmare of the sudden interruption of social communication again.
This incident brings to mind what happened in early October, when a technical failure hit the two applications on October 4, 2021, and the downtime lasted for about 6 hours, as millions of users were surprised by the failure of the “Facebook”, “WhatsApp”, “Instagram” and “Amazon” applications. While complaints poured in from social media users after they were unable to use the services of the Facebook-affiliated platforms, especially in receiving and sending videos and photos.
The technical failure at the time led to a decline in Facebook shares by 5.5%, after the website services were disrupted with “Instagram” and “WhatsApp”, while “Amazon” shares fell by 2.89%.
Before that, it was the last Facebook failure that affected millions of users globally last June.
