As Most Of You Know We Lost The Face Of Space Jam Today AJ Mullins From Complications Of This Horrendous Disease That Is Plaguing Our Community And Nation.

As I Sit Here Remembering All Of The Talks We Had , It’s Just Devastating To Me That He’s Gone. He Was An Amazing Musician As We All Know But He Was Even A Better Person. I Don’t Think Anybody That Knew Him Doesn’t Have At Least One Awesome Story That They Can Share.

Every Time He Walked Into The Room , He Was Always Smiling And Super Positive. He Would Always Encourage People To Keep Their Head Up If They Were Down And Always Had Great Advice To Offer . AJ Was Definitely One Of The Most Humble And Genuine People That I’ve Ever Met.

He Truly Was A Bright Light In A Dark Room.

Rest Easy AJ Mullins ,You Will Always Be Remembered.

A.J. Mullins, my bandmate, my friend, my brother , is gone. Many knew him better and longer than I did, but we’ve been making music together for a number of years. I was blessed by that, but also the time we spent talking about life, kids, memories and all the things two men could talk with each other about. Quick with a joke, just as quick with a smile. I watched as he encouraged younger musicians who would come to jam with us on Thursdays, some of them clearly not that good, but he was never anything but a supportive mentor. He was loved by so many. To his family and all who knew and loved him, I cannot express how sorry I am for your loss, because I can also not express how deeply I feel that loss myself. I love you, A.J. I’ll never forget you.

Deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our dear friend and band member of Collaboration Band, AJ Mullins. AJ passed yesterday after a brief fight with COVID-19. We have urged our employees and urge patrons to get tested if they feel any of the symptoms of the illness. We heard of the positive results late last week and immediately brought in a professional cleaning company to do a sanitization of the entire restaurant. With heavy hearts, we ask that at this time that everyone takes precautions when out and about to limit the spread of this virus. Rest In Peace AJ, you will be missed by our family and the patrons whose lives you’ve touched.

AJ MULLINS, lead singer & guitarist in The Collaboration Band of southwest Florida, had, according to drummer Willie Miller, “a golden voice…one of the most soulful voices you’ve ever heard in your life.”
