The Minister of Education, Chairman of the University Affairs Council, Dr. Yousef Abdullah Al-Bunyan, issued a decision appointing Dr. Jamaan bin Salem Al-Ghamdi as Dean of the Deanship of Admission and Registration at King Abdulaziz University for a period of two years.
Al-Ghamdi is considered one of the university competencies, as he previously held a number of leadership positions in the university, the most important of which are the Vice-Dean of the College of Applied Sciences, and the Vice-Dean of the College of Medical Rehabilitation.
It is noteworthy that Al-Ghamdi obtained a PhD in Medical Physics from the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom, and a Master’s degree in Medical Physics from the University of Surrey, United Kingdom, and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the College of Science at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah.
Al-Ghamdi chaired several committees and represented the university inside and outside the Kingdom, and was a member of many conferences and forums.
