The youth team continued its series of victories and got closer to the leaders, Al-Ittihad, and its runner-up, Al-Nasr, after its difficult victory over its host Al-Khaleej, with three goals to two, in the meeting that brought them together at Prince Muhammad bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam, at the end of the 23rd round matches of the Saudi Roshan League.

The meeting witnessed a strong and friendly match between the two teams from the start, as Al-Shabab first advanced with two goals in the first 10 minutes of the match through: Christian Guanca (D: 3), and Aaron Bubenza (D: 6), and before the end of the first half, the Gulf returned to the meeting by scoring two goals through: Fabio Martinez (D: 14) and Sokol Tsekalishi (D: 38), and in the second half, Hussein Al-Qahtani scored the third goal for Al-Shabab (D: 59), so the match ended with Al-Shabab winning 3-2.

With this result, Al-Shabab achieved the 15th victory and reached the 50th point, occupying third place, with a difference of only 3 points from the runner-up, Al-Nasr, and 6 points from the leader, Al-Ittihad, while Al-Khaleej received the 16th loss and its balance frozen at 17 points in the penultimate 15th place.
