The Saudi youth team qualified for the second stage of the first round of the King Salman Cup for Clubs 2023, organized by the Arab Football Association, after defeating the Iraqi Air Force by four goals without a response, in the return match on Sunday.
The goals of the youth team were scored by Aaron Salem, Ever Banega, Hassan Timbukti and Christian Guanca, after a 1-1 draw in the first leg in Basra.
With that result, the youth team will face a confrontation with the Syrian Tishreen in the next stage, to decide the identity of the two teams qualified for the group stage.
The youth thus joined the list of qualified players, which include the Moroccan Royal Army, the Emirati Unity, the Syrian Tishreen, the Sudanese Crescent, the Tunisian Sfaxien, the Libyan Al-Ahly Tripoli, the Omani Renaissance, the Tunisian Monastir Union, the Bahraini Muharraq, the Mauritanian Nouadhibou and the Kuwaiti Kuwait.
