Remnants of buildings, tires and weeds surround the plans of the Al-Anoud neighborhood and Umm Al-Sabaa in Taif, amid the silence of the Secretariat, which threatens to distort and pollute the neighborhood. Abdullah Al-Harthy, Muhammad Al-Maliki and Muhammad Al-Otaibi demanded the speedy intervention and expansion of the entrance to the neighborhood, especially since the entrance threatens the residents when entering, and the Mayor of Taif had previously stood on the site and promised the residents to expand the entrance within a month.
The residents are also calling for a review of the status of the roundabout on the road linking Al-Raddaf Park and Hassan bin Thabet Road (the “South Road”) to contribute to reducing pressure on the parks signal and to smooth entry and exit for the residents of Al-Anoud, the village and Umm Al-Sabaa, instead of entering and exiting them with water drainage culverts.
A number of residents complained about the trees that suffocate the streets without the Municipality interfering with pruning, improving or removing them from some sites, in addition to paving the secondary streets in the neighborhood, as the Municipality focused its attention on the main streets and ignored the secondary ones.
The parents are calling on the Ministry of Education to implement the school complex project for the three stages (elementary, intermediate and secondary), which has been promised for more than 15 years without a solution on the ground.
