Barry Pilkington Death, Obituary : Barry Pilkington was a long-standing supporter of the Club, he had followed the Glassboys since the 1950’s, and he is also the father of our current Director, Ian Pilkington.
He was a kind and gentle spirit who loved his family very much. He loved being with nieces and nephews. It didn’t matter what you needed, he would be there to help you celebrate, mourn, fix things, build something or to just listen and offer a shoulder to cry on or smile to laugh with.
He was a dedicated and loving husband, a father that demonstrated that greatness could be achieved through hard work and passion. he was deeply loved by his family and friends.
