Oscar-nominated film child actor 22-year-old Jonshel Alexander shot and killed in Louisiana
Jonshel Alexander Death – Cause of Death : 22-year-old Jonshel Alexander, who featured in the Oscar-nominated film “Beasts of the Southern Wild,” was found shot to death inside a parked vehicle Saturday and was declared dead at the scene Saturday in New Orleans
Responding officers located Alexander and an unidentified man inside a car suffering from gunshot injuries. Alexander was pronounced dead at the scene, and the second victim was transported to the hospital in unknown condition.
Authorities say Alexander was the youngest of three children. After graduating from high school, she worked as a hostess in restaurants and has a 1-year-old daughter, De-vynne Robinson.
Shelly Alexander, the deceased’s mother says “She brought life to everything, “Jonshel was feisty, jazzy, spoiled. It was her way or no way. Jonshel was like, ‘It’s going to be me.’ “She was like, ‘I’m going to be in this movie, “They fell in love with Jonshel.”Alexander
No motive was immediately made available and officials are asking the public to provide any possible information they may have in connection to the incident.
