Ben Featherston Cause of Death – Passed Away: HOUSTON, Texas — 19-year-old Ben Featherston, the son of U.S. lawyer Brit Featherston, has died. Ben Featherston died on Friday night, November 26, 2021, at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, following a protracted fight.
Ben spent more than 50 days at Texas Children’s after being flown by life flight from Christus St. Elizabeth in severe condition, according to a statement provided by his family.
While announcing the passing of Ben Featherston, Annie Featherston wrote on Facebook, “We are thankful that God gave us the extra days so that everyone he loved could say goodbye. Yesterday was such an incredible show of love as dozens of friends and loved ones visited with Ben. They shared their wonderful stories of Ben with us and told him goodbye, and we are so thankful that he could hear their voices again.”
Ben Featherston had both his legs amputated. The cause of his disease is unknown, but physicians say it is not connected to COVID-19. According to his sister, his starting ailment had a one-in-a-million probability of occurring.
