It is with great sadness to share that TPUSA’s first believer and senior advisor Bill Montgomery has passed away. It was Bill and Charlie’s chance encounter in 2012, along with Bill’s generosity and willingness to invest in an 18-year-old with no experience and no connections that gave birth to the dream that would one day become Turning Point USA. Bill’s steadfast devotion to his family, his country, and the organization he helped create have left a permanent mark on the entire Turing Point USA community, and by extension an entire generation of students. Bill is survived by his wife, Edie, and by the thousands of young people he helped inspire to love, serve, and defend America, the country he loved so much.

Having heard about this great loss, the family of this individual is passing through pains, mourning the unexpected passing of their beloved.
This departure was confirmed through social media posts made by Twitter users who pour out tributes, and condolences to the family of the deceased.
