The International Association of Fire Fighters Local 1495 union announced the death of firefighter Patrick R. Corbett, IAFF 3rd District Local 1495, Billerica, Massachusetts, on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. Patrick was an Iraq War veteran, the father of four young children, and Lauren’s devoted husband. He fought cancer valiantly for many years.
He was also a veteran who represented the U.S. Marine Corps with absolute honour, courage, and commitment. Wilmington, MA Fire Department posted on Facebook, “We are saddened to hear of the loss of Billerica Firefighter Patrick Corbett to Occupational Cancer. We mourn this loss with our brothers and sisters in Billerica.”
