The members of Station 7 and the Manchester Fire department are in shock over the passing of Deputy Chief Brendan Burns. He was one of the good guys, always concerned about his firefighters and cracking a joke making you feel at ease. He will be missed dearly.

The New Hampshire Babe Ruth community is terribly saddened with the passing of Brendan Burns of Londonderry. Brendan was a strong supporter of youth sports. He directed the Russ Monbleau World Series qualifier in recent years and had coached a team to the Babe Ruth World Series. He was a true friend of Babe Ruth Softball and will be terribly missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and children.
Having heard about this great loss, the family of this individual is passing through pains, mourning the unexpected passing of their beloved.
