Fiddle Player Brendan Mulkere Death – Dead | Obituary – Passed Away
Brendan Mulkere Death – Dead: A great loss was made known to InsideEko. As friends and families of the deceased are mourning the passing of their loved and cherished Brendan Mulkere.
I had hoped that my first post on this page would be a happy one but we received very sad news today on the passing of the great Brendan Mulkere. A man whose legacy lives on and speaks for itself!
I had the honour of sharing the Gradam Ceoil celebrations with him last year and got to know a very talented, deep and caring person. His great personality will be sorely missed!
My condolences to Sharon, Claire, Sinéad, Colette, Des and all Brendan’s family and friends.
May he rest in peace 🙏
Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
Very sorry to hear of the death of #BrendanMulkere the man who was the guru of the #LondonIrish Trad scene for decades. So many great young second-generation #Irish musicians benefited from his stewardship. A proud #Clare man too. #RIPBrendanMulkare @Comhaltas @CCEBritain

Very sad to hear that the inspirational Brendan Mulkere has passed away. He did so much for Irish tradItional music in London through his teaching & by bringing groups to play there. He considered you “Family” if you were involved in trad music. Rest in Peace Brendan and thanks.
