One of those students was a Senior and died from the shooting, according to the school. The shooting happened at Cypress Run Apartments in Algiers. Inspire NOLA said Edna Karr Senior Caleb O’Neal Johnson was killed and his girlfriend, who also attends the school, was shot. Her condition has not been released at this time. Johnson’s sister, Breyiana Brown, 25, was also killed in the shooting. Leaders at the school remember Johnson as a quiet athlete with a promising future.
