Tributes made to the great writer, Buck Henry:
For those of us who have viewed genius Buck Henry as ageless, it was a surprise to see that he passed away today. 89. A fabulous age to reach. But SO many are sad, anyway. If you’ve watched him for DECADES, you’re even sadder. In Philly, we’d say: What a BEAUT! #RenaissanceMan pic.twitter.com/cB7MNF7s2Q

So sad to hear that Buck Henry has passed away. Very fortunately, I got to meet Mr. Henry when he came backstage (accompanied by Bill Murray) at a show I played with Ann Magnuson in NYC. I told him I was really looking forward to seeing “The Graduate 2.”

@barbaracrampton @flanaganfilm Sad news: #BuckHenry passed away. He was in one of the only (possibly THE only) adaptation(s?) of Lovecraft they ever did on SNL, back in 1979. It was based on The Shadow over Innsmouth, I believe.https://t.co/ldwPWA77R0
