Kim Rae Llewellyn, shared the devastating news of Matt and also asked friends to pray for the family of Matt, the post read “I do not mourn for the ones who have left us, I mourn for those left behind. My heart is breaking for my children and grandchildren today. As a mother, you want to take the pain away. A matriarch, a wonderful woman, a force to be reckoned with, and, although my ex-mother-in-law, Sherrie Ramsey, she was the grandmother to my children and grandchildren. She was, by far, the most giving, loving, and best grandma on this planet. She was the definition of what love looks like to her friends and family. I send prayers, hugs, and much love to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Please pray for the Ramsey Family in their time of sorrow. A veteran and a police officer, Matt Brown, also left this world yesterday in Springfield Missouri. The Police Department lost a brother. He not only served his country and community well, but he was also a wonderful family man and a great friend to many. My heart breaks for both my sons, Brian who has been friends with him for quite some time, and Jimmy who served with him at the Police Department, and for the whole community. Please pray for the Brown family in their time of sorrow.”
