The Council of Ministers canceled the regulation for practicing the profession of commenting on transactions with government agencies. Yesterday, Umm Al-Qura newspaper published the Council's decision to cancel the regulation for practicing the profession of commentary, and to cancel the fees previously imposed for issuing a license for commentators at government agencies.
The decision stipulated the cancellation of the two fees mentioned in Clause (First) of Royal Decree No. (M / 35) dated 6/25/1424 AH, which stipulated “imposing a fee of (100) riyals in exchange for issuing a license to practice the profession of commenting on transactions with government agencies, and a fee The amount of (50) riyals upon renewal.
The Shura Council agreed to cancel the regulation last December. In its report submitted to the Council regarding the proposal to abolish the regulation for practicing the profession of commenting on transactions with government agencies, the Commerce and Investment Committee indicated that it does not cancel the profession of commenting, but rather eases the requirements for business practitioners, cancels the license issuance fees, and suffices the condition of the commercial register without the need to issue licenses; To contribute to facilitating the start of economic business, and to develop practitioners of this profession to carry out their work electronically.
