Chase Lawson Death: Chase Lawson, 20-year-old, of Crestwood, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021. He loved playing Frisbee Golf and going to Concerts. He was a member at Southeast Christian Church and actively volunteered in the preschool ministry. He is survived by his parents, Michael and Susan Lawson; his sisters, Chelsea and Haley Lawson, grandparents, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was born in 2021, to his parents Michael and Susan Lawson was a 2020 graduate of South Oldham High School where he was captain of the Track & Field team. He was a sophomore at the University of Kentucky majoring in neuroscience with minors in Spanish and biology. His dream was to become a neurologist. He spent last summer contributing to neuroscience research in the UK and working as a pharmacy tech. He participated in the UK Men’s Club Volleyball team, was in the Honors Program and was a Governor’s Scholar.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021, from 3 pm to 8 pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens East Funeral Home, 11601 Ballardsville Rd. Louisville, KY 40241. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 11:30 am at Southeast Christian Church, Crestwood Campus, 6201 Crestwood Station, Crestwood, KY 40014. Visitation will also be held at the church at 10:30 am for an hour prior to the funeral.
