The poet Abd al-Majid al-Dhiabi wrote a tweet in which he mourned the late: “The media cousin Badr al-Awwad, may God have mercy on him, passed away. O Allah, have mercy on him, and make what befell him an atonement for him, and purify him from sins and transgressions, as a white garment is purified from filth. O Allah, replace him with a better home than his home, and a better family than his family.”
The editor-in-chief of the electronic newspaper, Nayef Al-Mushait, said: “We ask God to bless our dear brother Badr Al-Awwad with the abundance of his mercy and to dwell him in his spacious gardens.” While the journalist Ayman Al-Ghabiwi wrote: “After suffering with illness, the loyal friend, the Saudi journalist Badr Al-Awwad, passed away.” Who worked for "Okaz" and "Al-Watan".
