The Ministry of Commerce announced the transfer of electronic store documentation from the “Maarouf” platform to the “Business Platform” of the Saudi Business Center, in an effort to enhance the reliability of e-commerce and the correctness of its transactions through bank accounts linked to stores.
The Ministry called on the owners of electronic stores to document their stores on the "Business Platform" instead of the "Marouf" platform, as this step comes in integration with the Electronic Commerce Council, as a result of developing documentation procedures, and requiring the store to have a commercial bank account to enhance reliability in its financial transactions, and avoid fraud. and fraud.
The Ministry stated that the documentation procedures are easy and convenient, and are done electronically via https://business.sa, and it is required to obtain the documentation: the presence of a commercial register or a valid freelance work document, and the existence of a commercial bank account, as the business platform will be the only platform approved for the documentation of stores electronics in Saudi Arabia.
