Cricco Åkerberg Death – Dead: A great loss was made known to InsideEko. As friends and families of the deceased are mourning the passing of their loved and cherished Cricco Åkerberg.
Having heard about this great loss, the family of this individual is passing through pains, mourning the unexpected passing of their beloved.
This departure was confirmed through social media posts made by Twitter users who pour out tributes, and condolences to the family of the deceased.
The Swedish Lusitano company must tragically announce that the Swedish lusitanop profile Cricco Åkerberg has left us in great sadness. Cricco was a highly liked trainer who has led many riders and horses over the years. She competed dressage up to difficult class but her heart beat extra hard for the classic dressage and shows. Cricco had a small-scale, own breeding and the horses were a big part of her life. There are not many in the world of Swedish lusitanons who have not been affected by Cricco over the years. Friends, students or spectators at one of all her shows – Cricco will be enormously missed.

Some riders and some people have a certain grace. When I was younger, an emerging journalist, I would seek out older intellectuals and interview them. I was amazed that there were humans that were so well read. That knew so much! As I advanced as a rider of horses I came to understand that there were riders of this same intellectual capacity and more so, with physical intelligence. That they carried their knowledge in their body. In their movement. In their simple answers to complicated questions about riding horses. Well read and extremely educated in animal husbandry, advanced riding techniques – understanding riding dressage in its old form – as an art.
Today I learned that Cricco Åkerberg passed away in a riding accident. She was one of these people. I had the good fortune of joining her a few times as a student. I remember feeling quite shy at first to join her training, and then relieved at the grace and kindness that surrounded this group of students. I had a horse that had had a trauma around his mouth, in how he related through the bit. Cricco saw this horse not for his limitations, but for the fine qualities he had. I would even dare to say, his spiritual dimension. She rode him beautifully, and brought out the best in me and the horse, made us dance. I wish to send my thanks to Cricco for being such an inspiring rider, trainer, intellectual, beautiful human. I send my thoughts and love today to her family, animals and students. Thank you. And thank you Karin Victorin for introducing us, and to Zanna Johansson for keeping me in the group when I moved away from the area. I was looking forward to hearing what Cricco would have thought of my young horse, expecting to join the training group in the fall. I hope you keep watching over us Cricco! And as I often have a physical memory of your riding instructions as I ride, I will strive to keep you alive in my journey towards riding horses ”towards the light”.

More details have not been released about this death, and actual death age and date are yet to confirmed by us. We are still working on getting more details about the death, as family statement on the death is yet to be released.
