Dan Kohn was a legend and always kind and energetic. He was the biggest driving force behind the @CloudNativeFdn which has quickly become one of the most important tech orgs in the world.

My friend Dan Kohn passed away today. I am very sad and can’t imagine the loss his wife and two teenage sons must feel.
I think of Dan when I mentor someone since our relationship is an example of how you can learn more by being a mentor than being a mentee.

This departure was confirmed through social media posts made by Twitter users who pour out tributes, and condolences to the family of the deceased.
